When it comes to decorating your house you don’t have to spend a lot of money on pre-created design ideas. As a crafter you probably want to do something that expresses yourself rather than find something to fit into your vision. Your home is meant to be an outlet and safe haven for yourself, so you should turn it into your own unique work of art. Art projects don’t necessarily mean pulling out the paint and canvas. You can create amazing wall decorations and other decor from scratch, and often with old household items and things you have lying around taking up space.

Turn your wall into a work of art, and it will serve as inspiration, a conversation piece, and best yet, it will make you happy when you look at it.

If you like have pictures and other wall hangings you can still put your own touch on them. Make your own works of art. As a crafter you probably work with a lot of different materials to create dynamic pieces. These can all be put into a wall hanging to create a textured and interesting accent piece. Use fabric, string, stones, buttons, or whatever you might have lying around to create something amazing. Your whole purpose is to create something aesthetically pleasing, not something functional.
